The new commission structure goes into effect in July, with the first payments arriving in August. Another program enhancement announced last week allows partners to receive commission payments electronically for the first time.
Other benefits provided to higher-level partners in the new program include increased access to market development funds and dedicated support resources.
A new partner portal, introduced alongside the revamped partner program, comes with a deal registration system that exchanges data automatically with the ConnectWise Manage, Autotask PSA, and Kaseya BMS PSA solutions. “We’re allowing partners to protect their leads,” Conkle says. “As we’re growing our partner base, especially in larger markets, we’re seeing where there’s the chance of collision is definitely higher.”
A second new tool also draws on integration with leading PSA solutions to streamline the sales proposal process. “This keeps you from having to look up all these details and massively cuts down the time it takes to generate a new proposal,” Conkle says. The system lets users validate the portability of a customer’s phone numbers without switching to another interface as well.
Coming to partner program members later this year is a new customer onboarding process. Unlike its predecessor, the updated service doesn’t require users to finalize proposals completely before activating accounts.
“This means that if an office manager needs a different phone, a few more extensions are missed, or even a new number needs to be added, the customer can make those changes on the fly,” said Pierce Brantley, Cytracom’s vice president of product, during a Simplifi keynote. “They will even see real-time cost comparisons and an updated bill.”
Other additions to the portal include support for co-branded collateral.
