Cirius Messaging Inc., a developer of the Cirius communications and information management solution, has joined in a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. Cirius’ cloud-based secure messaging is designed for regulated and non-regulated businesses to easily and efficiently protect, control, and manage their email communications even after content has been sent. Under the new agreement, Cirius is now available in the U.S. and Canada to channel partners through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.
“There is an increasing need for companies like Cirius who specialize in delivering an enhanced cloud experience and work to make the cloud more accessible, secure, and profitable for channel partners,” says Jason Bystrak, executive director – The Americas, Ingram Micro. “Cloud-based security is an important growth market, and Cirius integrates tightly with many of the other cloud solutions available through Ingram Micro Cloud and the Cloud Marketplace, making them a welcome addition to our growing portfolio.”
In addition to message security, users of Cirius can easily track when an email has been received and opened, effectively recall a message even after it has been read, control whether messages can be forwarded or replied to by recipients, as well securely send file attachments of up to 5GBs. Cirius works on any device including smart phones and tablets and integrates into existing email platforms.
“Cirius is sold only through the channel, so becoming a part of the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace represents an enormous opportunity to gain further exposure,” says Cameron Burke, SVP business development, Cirius Messaging. “More and more businesses are recognizing the competitive advantages that cloud-based secure messaging and productivity tools deliver. This recognition, along with the fact that Cirius is easy to use, is flexible to data jurisdiction and integrates tightly with other cloud solutions, make Cirius a compelling product for resellers.”
“The uptake of secure messaging for non-regulated industries including SMBs is rapidly increasing – so the relationship with Ingram Micro is well timed,” continues Burke. “There is no question that secure messaging, as a means to protect and control all of the valuable data that flows through email communications, is becoming a priority for businesses of all sizes because it has a bottom-line impact.”
