Exclusive Networks grew revenue 8% in 2020 despite economic headwinds from the coronavirus pandemic, and independent of balance sheet contributions made by Nuaware and the two other companies Exclusive acquired last year, Veracomp and JJNET. It also added 450 employees to its payroll and grew its worldwide partner network to more than 18,000 members.
Trolle anticipates continued growth in Exclusive’s core markets this year. While massive purchasing of webcams, monitors, and other work-from-home computing gear in the last 12 months may reduce spending in those segments going forward, he noted, demand for the cybersecurity offerings Exclusive sells is comparatively immune from refresh cycles.
“It’s been accelerated by COVID, but I don’t believe we’re going to see it slow down anytime soon,” Trolle says. “Security is going to be at the front and center of IT.
