eFolder Appoints Matt Nachtrab CEO

eFolder Inc. has named former ConnectWise executive and current chief strategy officer Matt Nachtrab its new CEO.

Kevin Hoffman, who had been eFolder’s CEO and CTO, will now dedicate 100 percent of his time to being the Denver-based BDR and file sync and share vendor’s chief technologist in conjunction with that change.

“Kevin is the most brilliant technology leader I have worked with, and now he can focus on eFolder technology,” said Nachtab in a press statement. “This focus will result in disrupting innovation at eFolder and result in significant profitability for the MSPs that choose eFolder.”

A former MSP from Toledo, Ohio, Nachtrab founded RMM vendor LabTech Software in 2004. Six years later, he accepted an equity investment from Tampa, Fla.-based ConnectWise that eventually led to his company becoming a fully incorporated division of ConnectWise, LabTech’s eponymous product (which has been known as ConnectWise Automate since November) becoming a core element of ConnectWise’s managed services software suite, and Nachtrab himself becoming the company’s president and chief operating officer.

Nachtrab stepped out of that role in April of last year and became eFolder’s chief strategy officer this February. He later became the company’s chief revenue officer as well.

“Matt has fit right in with the team here, and has already made a big impact on our strategy and growth,” said Kevin Hoffman in prepared remarks. “He’s an exceptional leader, passionate about our mission, and understands the keys to building a successful business and making channel partners successful. We look forward to working closely together as we take eFolder and our partners into a very bright future.”

eFolder updated its line of Replibit BDR appliances in May. It acquired Replibit in June of last year.
