The Neptor NP056K, the newest member of the EagleTech family, is designed with the heavy phone/pad users in mind. There are two charging ports: one 1.0A (for low drain devices like smartphones) and one 2.1A (for high drain devices like tablets). The NP056K is a versatile battery pack that handles two mobile devices for frequent travelers.
The NP056K boasts charging of phones and tablets in minutes instead of hours. On smartphones capable of fast charges, a 10-minute charge gives you roughly 40 minutes of talk time and a 1-hour charge gives you roughly 70% of the total capacity. On most tablets, a 1-hour charge gives you roughly 15%.
The charger includes a high rate discharge capable DC/DC converter and rechargeable lithium polymer batteries by Samsung. The DC/DC converter ensures charges to mobile devices, and provides protection against over-charging and over-temperature. All Neptor batteries are charged to 80% at the factory and ready for immediate use.
The battery charger also lights up to provide extra visibility. Press the power button twice to turn on or off the flashlight. The Neptor NP056K flashlight uses energy efficient LED light bulb that never needs replacing. Four status indicators show energy usage. Each light represents a quarter charge.
