The telecommunication systems division of Toshiba America Information Systems Inc. announced this week the interoperability certification of 123Net’s SIP trunking solution with Toshiba’s own IPedge and Strata CIX IP business communication systems.
123Net Inc. provides wholesale and retail telecommunications carrier services to Michigan ISPs, technology companies, CLECs, and other operations. 123Net SIP trunking is now available from Michigan’s authorized Toshiba Dealers.
“Certification of Toshiba’s IPedge and Strata CIX with 123Net SIP provides SMBs the interoperability of a feature-rich telephone system with a high-quality SIP trunking service,” says Mark Carpenter, Toshiba’s vice president of product management. “Michigan’s Authorized Toshiba Dealers can now offer their Toshiba IPedge and Strata CIX customers 123Net SIP, which is a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy and easy-to-manage SIP trunking solution for SMB telephony systems.”
For its own part 123Net says the interoperability certification enables authorized Toshiba dealers to select 123Net as their SIP provider. “Completing the interoperability certification with Toshiba broadens the market where 123Net’s SIP trunking can be offered and helps ensure a seamless delivery for the client,” says Dave Curran, 123Net’s channel sales manager.
