Free Virtual Mobility Event from D&H
On September 16, the distributor will deliver product information, expertise, and sales strategies from leading vendors such as ASUS, Cisco, HP, Lenovo, and others.
D&H Distributing will conduct its first virtual event of this year for the IT marketplace, “The Possibilities with Mobility—Always On, Always Connected,” on Thursday, September 16, 2010, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET. The Harrisburg, Pa.-based distributor has designed the virtual venue as an addendum to its ongoing, live trade show schedule, to enhance the variety and amount of educational opportunities it offers its customers. D&H’s virtual events have attracted an average of 400 or more attendees per show, according to the company.
The conference’s online interface will contain a main exhibit hall with virtual booths from ASUS, Cisco, D&H, HP, and Lenovo. Attendees can listen to original, pre-recorded seminar sessions from these vendors, followed by an interactive Q&A. The agenda includes:
- The keynote presentation, “Complete Mobility Solutions,” from D&H
- “A New Era in Mobility,” from Lenovo
- “Cisco Wireless Networking Solutions,” from Cisco
- “HP Mobility Solutions,” from HP Commercial
- “ASUS Mobility Products,” from ASUS
VARs can chat in real time with representatives in this area, access free downloads, view additional “presentations-to-go,” and more. Plus, VARs can mingle with their peers and manufacturer reps in a live networking lounge chat section. Networking lounge sponsor vendors include HP Consumer, Kensington, SanDisk, and Targus.
As with D&H’s location-based trade shows, solution providers can take advantage of special, one-day-only pricing through the duration of the event. And attendees can win one of five sweepstakes packages or 10 American Express Gift Cards valued at $100 each.
