Ecessa (formerly Astrocom), a provider of WAN link controllers for SMBs based in Plymouth, Minn., says companies can now use its PowerLink WAN link aggregation products with DSL and/or cable links to significantly increase bandwidth capacity and improve network performance for the same or lower cost as they pay for a T1 line. Alternatively, according to Ecessa, SMBs can use the company’s WAN link aggregation products to maintain existing capacity at lower cost, with a return on investment within four months.
Any type of network connection can be used with PowerLink, including satellite, cable, DSL, and wireless. And, WAN link aggregation with load balancing can optimize underused WAN links, bringing added efficiencies to a WAN network infrastructure. †
