Schneider Electric Modifies Advanced Solutions Partner Program: Page 2 of 2

The changes are designed to encourage electrical contractors, consultants, and engineering firms on the one hand and IT partners on the other to collaborate in pursuit of burgeoning opportunities in the data center and edge computing markets. By Rich Freeman

Schneider hopes to see its revamped ASP program drive more collaboration with IT partners on edge infrastructure deals as well as data center projects. According to Gartner, 75% of enterprise-generated data will be created and processed outside a data center or cloud by 2024.

“Edge computing offers some pretty good opportunities, particularly I think in the SMB space,” Owen says. “We want to make sure that we’re everywhere edge opportunities exist.”

Schneider Electric introduced a brand new partner program designed to help IT channel pros create and expand managed power practices last month.
