MSI Updates Select Motherboards with USB 3.1

USB 3.1 connectivity offers speeds two times faster than USB 3.0, up to 10 Gb/s.

MSI has introduced its USB 3.1 featured motherboards, offering speeds up to 10Gb/s through two types of USB connectivity. The boards featuring Type-A USB 3.1 include:

  • Intel Z97 – Z97A Gaming 9 ACK, Z97A Gaming 7, Z97A Gaming 6
  • Intel X99 – X99A Gaming 9 ACK, X99A Gaming 7, X99A Xpower AC, X99A Mpower, X99A SLI Krait Edition, X99A SLI Plus, X99A Raider
  • AMD – 990FXA Gaming and 970A SLI Krait Edition.

Additionally, the MSI Z97A GAMING 6 motherboard sports USB 3.1 and Type-C connectivity, combining the benefits of speed and convenience. The USB Type-C connector is a new all-in-one cable that enables users to connect to different USB devices.†The connector is also reversible, taking the guesswork out of plugging in the cable “the right way.”

For more information about pricing and availability,†contact a local official MSI distributor.
