At the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) in Orlando, Florida, Epson made several announcements surrounding its line of education projection technology.

At the event, the company unveiled its latest document camera for education. The DC-21 delivers advanced clarity and color with HD 1080p resolution and a large imaging sensor as well as 12x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom. The document camera offers HDMI connectivity for high-definition video and a microscope adapter for sharing magnified images. Educators can also record audio with video using the built-in microphone to create lessons for remote classrooms or re-watch lessons for review.

Additionally, the†DC-21 can rotate 90 degrees vertically and horizontally, enabling it to be used as a webcam to capture classroom activities for videoconferencing or to store images with an SD card or computer. The document camera’s large capture area can display two full pages, while the Split Screen function enables the display of live and captured images side-by-side.

The Epson DC-21 will be available in February 2016 for $549. For additional information, visit www.epson.com/documentcameras.

Lower Lamp Pricing for Short-Throw and Ultra Short-Throw Projectors
