Components manufacturer Corsair announced this week that its Carbide Series 300R Compact PC Gaming Case is now available in a windowed version. First released in January, the Carbide 300R PC case is designed to provide system builders with a compact option.
The new version Carbide Series 300R provides a side window that enables builds to demo modding as well as internal components.
For system builders in the channel, the solution represents a good “floor model” case, presenting the opportunity to show off to SMB clients such internal components as memory modules, power supplies, coolers, and fans.
Builder-friendly features include three tool-free optical drive bays and four tool-free hard drive bays with integrated 2.5-inch SSD compatibility. “There’s room for high-end GPUs of up to 450mm in length,” states a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.
The 300R comes with intake and exhaust fans, with room for five additional fans including dual side-mounted fans for direct GPU cooling.
