ASUS Launches the GeForceÆ GTX 770 DirectCU II OC Graphics Card

Features exclusive ASUS DirectCU II cooling technology, ASUS DIGI+ VRM power delivery and more

ASUS today launched the GeForceÆ GTX 770 DirectCU II OC graphics card, featuring the 28nm NVIDIAÆ GTX 770 GPU with 1536 CUDA cores and 2GB GDDR5 memory. According to the press team at ASUS the boost core clock scales to an incredible 1110MHz while the video memory runs at a blistering 7010MHz frequency. The ASUS GeForceÆ GTX 770 DirectCU II OC delivers superb performance in the latest DirectXÆ 11 gaming titles and is ready for the next generation of PC games and multimedia titles. ASUS exclusive DirectCU II cooling technology, DIGI+ VRM power delivery and GPU Tweak graphics tuning offer improved cooling, stability and performance compared to reference card designs.

DirectCU II with SSU architecture for up to 20% cooler and 3X quieter performance
ASUS has implemented a redesigned DirectCU cooler on the GeForceÆ GTX 770 DirectCU II series of cards. The all-copper heat-pipes that attach to the GPU core directly are engineered in a new SSU shape and offers additional heat dissipation capabilities without increasing shroud or cooler size. Together with sound-suppressing dual 80mm fans, the card maintains strict ASUS standards of operating up to 20% cooler and three times quieter than typical reference GeForceÆ GTX 770 designs.

DIGI+ VRM 10-phase power delivery and Super Alloy Power components increase stability
Exclusive ASUS DIGI+ VRM digital power architecture ensures increased graphics card stability and cleaner power during the most intense applications. It is paired with Super Alloy Power capacitors, chokes, and MOSFETs, which all use specially-formulated materials to reduce power noise by as much as 30%, eliminate buzzing, and increase graphics card longevity by up to 2.5 times in comparison to a reference card.

GPU Tweak user-friendly graphics card monitoring and control
The exclusive ASUS GPU Tweak utility has been updated and fully harnesses the power of the GeForceÆ GTX 770. Through an intuitive graphical interface, it easily allows users to modify core and memory speeds, fan RPMs, and temperature and power consumption targets. Performance profiles for individual games can also be saved and quickly changed.

NVIDIAÆ GPU Boost 2.0 dynamic clock speed adjustment
Following the introduction of GPU Boost technology on GeForceÆ GTX 600 series graphics cards, GPU Boost 2.0 adds additional features to smart core clock frequency modulation. Based on application and load, the GPU intelligently changes core clocks to maximize performance and energy efficiency. GPU Boost 2.0 also adds support for temperature threshold presets, increased overvolting, and liquid cooling setups.

Enhanced Gaming Performance
Along with full support for PhysXÆ and NVIDIA SLIÆ technology, the ASUS GeForceÆ GTX 770 DirectCU II OC features NVIDIA GeForce Experience software, which delivers advanced features and optimal playable settings with the convenience of a single click. Silky smooth gaming visuals at the highest resolutions are available thanks to excellent NVIDIA TXAA advanced anti-aliasing performance and the latest GeForceÆ drivers.
