Anchor, a San Francisco-based cloud software development company, has created a new multi-tenant cloud storage, file synchronization, and collaboration solution for managed service providers: Anchor. The Anchor platform includes a centrally administered dashboard, usage reports, and granular user-access controls.
Anchor enables MSPs to scale to thousands of users and to price the solution at their discretion. An alerting system, individual usage reports, and organizational reports provide MSPs with clear metrics. The platform is brandable, with agent, Web, and mobile applications that can be customized. It also integrates with the AutoTask and ConnectWise business process tools.
The Anchor cloud storage solution delivers universal file access with rapid syncing across stationary and mobile end points. Users can manage file sharing from internal and external parties, store data flexibly (NAS, on-site server, remote server, etc.), and set granular access and security controls. Continuous, real-time backup, multiple folder backup (documents, desktop, images, etc.), and revised file backup help ensure that data is not lost. Transitioning to the platform is simplified through its integration with Active Directory.
“Businesses are moving their data to the cloud,” says Bryan Forrester, Anchor’s vice president of business development. “As they undertake this migration, Anchor provides an opportunity for secure management of that data by their trusted IT partner.”
Anchor’s platform includes features such as encryption key management, remote wipes of end-points, and operates using 448-bit Blowfish encryption.
The platform is available on Windows, Linux, and OSX.
