NaviCloud AppCenter Now Supports Apple iPad
NaviSite’s Web-based console can now be managed using an iPad “from anywhere at any time,” according to the company.
NaviSite Inc., known in the channel for its hosting, managed application, managed messaging, and managed cloud services, has introduced Apple iPad support for the NaviCloud AppCenter management console.
AppCenter is a Web-based console for creating, managing, and monitoring resources on the NaviCloud platform. It features an interface by which SMBs are able to configure, modify, decommission, and clone resources through drop-down menus and point-and-click operations.
Adding support for the iPad represents the next phase in ease-of-use cloud asset management.
In a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB, NaviSite says the Apple iPad support enables SMBs to be more “nimble and agile in support of their businesses.” The press release states, “IT organizations can now easily provision and manage NaviCloud resources using an iPad from anywhere at any time.”
NaviSite CTO Denis Martin shares the company’s overall perspective. “Customers can now use an iPad to access all of AppCenter’s capabilities,” he explains. “They can create, monitor, and manage their cloud-based IT environments from anywhere–even on a plane at 30,000 feet.” †
