Panasonic has introduced the M100 series, a new network scanning solution that combines the processing power of an Intel Core i5 tablet with a high-speed scanner for quick scanning of images without reducing productivity. Designed for businesses of any size, the scanning solution offers advanced network connectivity and image processing, removing the need for manual scanning and data entry with the ability to scan to email, shared folders, fax, or Bluetooth (on select models) at the touch of a button.
Additional features of the M100 series include:
- High-Speed Simplex and Duplex Scanning: Scanning speeds up to 100PPM with the ability to automatically scan single or double-sided with the stroke of a single key.
- Double-Feed, Staple, and Dog-Ear Detection (on select models): High-performance sensors detect issues, alerting the user at the time of detection to help eliminate paper jams and increase scanning speeds.
- Long Paper Mode, Mixed Media, and Batch Scanning: Automatically scans multiple items at once, eliminating the need to set-up scanning parameters multiple times. It also includes the capacity to support long-paper items such as electrocardiograms, passports, and thick card stock with the straight-path paper feed.
- Various Type File Support: The system can support uncompressed TIFF, JPEG TIFF, multipage TIFF, JPEG, PNG, PDF, and searchable PDF formats.
- Security and Device Management: Security and management features include Domain Network Authentication/Local User Management, Remote Administration, Local Device Address Book (LDAP), Built-in Auditing, and Auto Document Erasure.
