The new intranet portal, deployed and managed from the Office 365 platform, is designed to provide a more collaborative working environment and give employees a central access point to important company information and apps.

ROOT serves as a launch pad for all business communications. It allows employees to quickly obtain the essential tools they need to perform their daily tasks, such as an advanced search feature (by people, department, or skillset), access to company goals and objectives, corporate events calendar, and departmental requests. The departmental request widget tracks the status of requests and allows managers to see open, in progress, and closed requests by category and person.
ROOT also includes a recognition feed for shout-outs, employee anniversaries, and birthdays. Additionally, there are widgets for social networking (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook), blogs, weather, tip of the day, win search, and more.
