According to Bardissi, the overwhelming majority of existing 1Stream users have been transferred into the Starter tier, which corresponds to the sole subscription tier available for the system before. Pricing at that level is identical to what those users were paying previously.
“Nobody’s losing any features,” Bardissi says. “If anything, they’re getting way more than they got before with the option to add if they want to move on.”
1Stream originated as an integration tool for use by BVoIP’s own development team. In time, the company recognized that its MSP partners and their end user customers could potentially benefit from the platform as well. The system initially provided built-in connections to managed service line-of-business tools from ConnectWise, Datto’s Autotask unit, and Zendesk, among others. Support for applications used by non-MSPs like Salesforce, HubSpot, and NetSuite soon followed.
Future enhancements, according to Bardissi, will follow a roadmap heavily influenced by user input.
“We’ve gotten probably several hundred recommendations about how to streamline workflows,” he says.
