Basalte, maker of elegant on-wall iPad docks, has added new mounts for iPad Air and iPad mini 2 with Retina to its Eve collection. The mounts are now shipping.
As with other Eve frames, the latest versions are precision-machined out of a single block of aluminum, adding less than 2 mm of depth to the tablet.
They come in multiple finishes-polished aluminum, brushed anodized black or aluminum, and satin white-and can be specified with rounded or squared corners.
The tablets snap into place with magnets; a secure version is available that requires a lock to remove the iPad. A USB power source sits behind the frame in a single-gang box.
Basalte will be demonstrating the Eve mounts, along with its flagship KNX control products at ISE 2014 in Amsterdam.
