6 Cybersecurity Vendors MSPs Can Bank on for High-value Services

Leading cybersecurity vendors reveal innovative strategies and advice for MSPs looking to improve their security framework.

The cybersecurity landscape never stands still, and at the RSAC 2025 conference in San Francisco, that reality was on full display. ChannelPro caught up with channel executives from six cybersecurity vendors making strategic investments in MSP success. From threat visibility and policy automation to recovery readiness, here’s what each company is offering — and what advice these leaders have for MSPs looking to step up their security game.

Cybersecurity Vendors for MSPs to Watch

Commvault: Raising the Bar on Recovery Readiness

Tim Zonca of cybersecurity vendor Commvault

Tim Zonca

“We’ve taken the idea of a cyber range and applied it to recovery,” said Tim Zonca, vice president of portfolio marketing. “It’s a hands-on, immersive experience. There are real-life attack scenarios that you go through.”

  • Advice for MSPs: Zonca pointed to Commvault’s Cleanroom Recovery as a game changer for service providers supporting mid-market clients. It enables affordable and automated cyber recovery testing that was previously out of reach. “Most people don’t do it. Cleaner recovery just nails that problem with a sledgehammer.”

LastPass: Simplifying Access Security and SaaS Visibility

Don MacLennan of cybersecurity vendor LastPass

Don MacLennan

  • What It Does: LastPass delivers password management and identity security solutions tailored for SMBs and the MSPs that serve them.
  • What’s New: In February, LastPass launched a redesigned MSP experience that includes an upgraded console, automated billing flows, a partner portal, and value-based client reporting. Most recently, it added SaaS application visibility, allowing MSPs to monitor which apps employees are using — whether sanctioned or not.

“This capability is being launched now,” said Chief Product Officer Don MacLennan. “A fast-follow road map item is access control … a lightweight capability that guides employees away from applications you don’t want them using.”

  • Advice for MSPs: MacLennan encouraged MSPs to use SaaS visibility as a springboard to expand their service portfolio. “The data we’re surfacing gives MSPs an opportunity to sell a greater portfolio of value-added services — perhaps even new ones that are much more cloud and SaaS native.”

Qwiet AI: Accelerating Secure Code with AI

Brian Lee of cybersecurity vendor Qwiet AI

Brian Lee

  • What It Does: Qwiet AIformerly ShiftLeft — helps organizations detect, prioritize, and remediate software vulnerabilities faster using artificial intelligence.
  • What’s New: While no major product announcements dropped at RSAC, Qwiet AI showcased new AI agents and integrations that help cut vulnerability remediation from hours to minutes.

“Our mission is to make secure code faster and easier for developers,” said Brian Lee, vice president of marketing. “We’re talking about 90%-plus faster time savings.”

  • Advice for MSPs: Lee sees opportunity for service providers to move deeper into software development pipelines. This is a less crowded, higher-value service area that can offer a chance for revenue growth. “This gives [MSPs] a new opportunity to get in the market beyond just maintenance. It opens up all sorts of conversations with stakeholders they may not have had access to.”

Radware: Democratizing DDoS Protection for the Channel

Chip Witt of cybersecurity vendor Radware

Chip Witt

  • What It Does: Radware provides cloud-based security for applications and infrastructure, including DDoS protection, API security, bot management, and client-side protections.
  • What’s New: The company’s latest threat report revealed a shift toward Layer 7 attacks, especially Web DDoS. Its solution uses AI to differentiate malicious traffic from legitimate user requests in real time.

“You can’t block traffic if you can’t tell it apart from real users,” said Chip Witt, principal security evangelist. “We assess the threat and make decisions to mitigate it without impacting the application.”

  • Advice for MSPs: Radware’s cloud-first model allows MSPs to offer security services without upfront capital investment, Witt explained. “We’ve made it easy to deploy, reasonably priced, and profitable. It’s a greenfield opportunity. Everyone has the same security problems — big or small.”

Trend Micro: Expanding Vision One for MSPs

Louise McEvoy of cybersecurity vendor Trend Micro

Louise McEvoy

  • What It Does: Trend Micro offers a comprehensive cybersecurity platform spanning endpoint, email, cloud, OT, and more. It’s all anchored by the Trend Micro Vision One platform.
  • What’s New: The company launched Vision One for Service Providers, a multitenant module that enables MSPs to manage security services for multiple clients within a single, integrated environment.

“It expands from SMB all the way up to large enterprise,” shared Louise McEvoy, vice president of channel. “And it’s integrated with everything — endpoint, cloud, containers, OT.”

  • Advice for MSPs: McEvoy emphasized flexibility and scalability. Partners can build security offerings on their own terms. “You don’t have to rip and replace. We can meet partners and their customers where they are, whether on AWS, Azure, or on-prem.”

Tufin: Automating Policy Management Across Hybrid Environments

Erez Tadmor of cybersecurity vendor Tufin

Erez Tadmor

  • What It Does: Tufin centralizes and automates network security policy management across on-prem, cloud, and edge environments.
  • What’s New: The company introduced TufinMate, an AI assistant that helps troubleshoot connectivity issues via natural language. Tufin also enhanced its automation capabilities with support for Microsoft Copilot, cloud-native devices, and segmentation optimization.

“Tufin AI is not just a chatbot,” noted Erez Tadmor, global field CTO. “It automates root-cause analysis and remediation, helping reduce the burden on IT and security teams.”

  • Advice for MSPs: Tufin’s multitenant design and Open Policy Model make it easier for service providers to onboard niche devices and manage complex hybrid networks, Tadmor said. “MSPs can onboard any customer — even if they use vendors we don’t yet support — because we can model and integrate them quickly.”

Key Takeaway for MSPs

From advanced recovery simulations to browser-based SaaS controls, each of these cybersecurity vendors is investing in smarter, more scalable solutions for the channel. If you’re building a deeper portfolio or looking to automate tedious tasks, there’s never been a better time to explore new partnerships.
