The “roadies” of the Channel Strong Tour, a multivendor, 10-day stretch of lunch and learns and evening parking lot tailgate-style networking events, wrapped up their March tour through the South and are recharging to hit the bus again for their upcoming May itinerary.
Conceived last year by BVoIP CEO George Bardissi and Ken Patterson, Pax8‘s director of channel community, the Channel Strong “Positive Vibes” Tour is designed to safely reconnect with MSP partners in lieu of conferences and other in-person meetings during the pandemic. The tour is also supporting local food banks in each region it visits, requesting that attendees bring at least two nonperishable food items to the outdoor get-together.
The March tour started in Plano, Texas, on the 15th, making its way to Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston. Then it was on to New Orleans, followed by Florida stops in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Jacksonville. Last stop on March 26 was Atlanta.
March Channel Strong sponsors, who rented a tour bus to travel through the region, included BVoIP, along with Acronis, Compliancy Group, Equilibrium Consulting, Nerdio, Pax8, RocketCyber, Zorus Tech, and The ChannelPro Network. Lunch and learn sponsors included BVoIP, Compliancy Group, Mailprotector, and Snom.
ChannelPro’s own VP and Associate Publisher Joel Zaidspiner joined the gang for the Florida leg of the tour, and his on-the-ground reporting and interviews with sponsors and MSP attendees can be found here and here.
The Channel Strong Tour roadies will be packing their bags and hitting the highway again starting May 17 in Nashville, Tenn., making their way through cities in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.
