Power management company Eaton has launched PredictPulseInsight, a cloud-based analytics service for data center infrastructure to help predict the failure of power components. The new service adds predictive analytics to Eaton’s next-generation PredictPulse remote monitoring service. Using detailed algorithms and predictive modeling, the new service assesses the likelihood of component failures in uninterruptible power systems (UPSs).
With the new service, users receive real-time information using an online dashboard to view real-time device details, alarms, key performance metrics, service history, and contact information from their online dashboard to remain up to speed on the status of their power infrastructure and any trends that develop. Additionally, the service’s mobile app shows alarm status, allowing users to address a critical event on the go.
PredictPulse Insight can be installed using standard Eaton network cards and customized to meet specific end user needs, including changing or deleting devices, adjusting coworker access, and setting escalation preferences.
