Continuum partners can now access their remote monitoring and management (RMM) functions via a new Apple iOS app.
The RMM SaaS provider released the app, called ITS247, in cooperation with LogMeIn. “This release delivers a new level of mobile RMM control and enables partners more responsive service while maximizing their service outside the office,” states Continuum in a press release submitted to ChannelPro-SMB.
ITS247 is available to Continuum partners at no charge and enables partners to “remote in” to any device that has Continuum agents and control key functions related to managing their customers’ sites, including access to tickets, alerts, machines, scripts and reports for each customer.
“To enable the highest level of productivity in today’s workforce, we need to enable IT professionals to work from anywhere, anytime,” says Dee Zepf, Continuum’s vice president of product management and technical services. “Our iOS mobile app provides remote access to the same robust RMM features available from our Web-based portal as well as the ability to remotely support customer devices.”
In Q1 2012, Continuum and LogMeIn entered into a channel agreement to bring an exclusive combination of LogMeIn’s remote access capabilities and Continuum’s RMM features to managed services providers (MSPs).
Along with the iOS app, Continuum also released a new SMS alert escalation option designed to provide MSPs the ability to receive alert notifications via text rather than phone call.
