In a joint announcement late January, IP voice/video telephony manufacturer Grandstream Networks and platform video management solutions provider NUUO touted interoperability and integration of key products. With Device Pack v.1.13, NUUO’s PC-based and standalone video management and recording solutions can now add Grandstream’s GXV36xx/GXV35XX Series IP cameras and video encoders by model name to the network with advanced video analytics.

Grandstream’s IP video surveillance cameras include model types for high-definition and low-light conditions ranging from CMOS and CCD cameras, box cameras, fixed dome cameras, cube cameras, outdoor cameras, and others. With features like multi-rate H.264 and MJPEG real-time video compression (up to HD1080p), integrated two-way audio telephony features, day/night mode, advanced mega-pixel CMOS sensor with wide dynamic range, integrated PoE and HTTP API for easy integration, Grandstream cameras step closer total convergence of voice and video.
Grandstream’s entire family of IP video cameras are capable of 2-way, bi-directional SIP/VoIP audio and real-time video streaming capabilities to mobile phones and video phones. They are fully compatible with Grandstream’s GXE IP PBX as well as various other SIP-based IP PBXs and service provider networks.
NUUO’s PC-Based NVR (IP) is an open platform recording solution that manages up to 128 IP network cameras. The software enables users to manage live video streams from multiple IP cameras and video with an intuitive GUI recording schedule and interactive E-map. Other functions include NUUO intelligent video solution (IVS), event detection and intelligent playback search, video enhancement tools, and mobile (3G) support.
