Manage services providers can now offer their SMB clients unlimited storage for as little as $100 per year.
Cloud storage provider Symform Inc.†introduced a new pricing plan to channel pros this month, offering unlimited cloud storage for $100 per year or $10 per month.
According to Symform, the pricing plan is designed to save SMBs thousands of dollars – especially those businesses storing multiple terabyes of data.
While many cloud storage providers charge SMBs by the GBs or TBs of data stores (and may also include such “extras” as bandwidth or recovery fees), Symform sees the flat fee pricing structure as the way to attract SMB clients.
“Cloud storage is an ideal way for businesses to back up their data for disaster recovery, anywhere access, and sharing,” says Symform CEO Matthew Schiltz. “The problem is that it is just too expensive, forcing companies to leave a lot of data unprotected. Symform solves this problem by offering unlimited cloud storage starting at only $10 a month or $100 year.”
The Symform Storage Cloud is a decentralized cloud storage solution. It employs RAID-96 to geographically distribute, encrypt, and shred its data.
Symform’s pricing model includes the following offerings at the following rates (prices include unlimited devices for each user):
- Free Account — 100 GB @ $0/year or $0/month
- Three-User Agreement — Unlimited storage @ $10/month or $100/year
- Each Additional User — Unlimited storage @ $30/year or $3/month
- Each Server — Unlimited storage @ $500/year or $50/month
In tandem with its new pricing structure, Symform has rolled out a program for authorized reseller partners. Via Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels, Symform Partners are able to receive one-on-one technical support. They also have access to tools for customer management and lead generation and co-branded e-mail reports.
