ClearCube Technology, a virtual desktop provider, is now offering a virtual private network(VPN)-enabled zero client with PCoIP technology – the Cloud Desktop 9520. The Cloud Desktop 9520 enables secure remote access to VMware View virtual desktops.
The ClearCube Cloud Desktop 9520 offers teleworkers and remote employees the ability to connect to a corporate desktop. Remote employees have access to a VMware View virtual desktop, giving them full desktop privileges without an operating system or local storage, which can compromise sensitive information.
ClientCube, a Keyboard-Video-Mouse and VMware-Ready Zero Client product for multi-domain environments, comes from a strategic partnership between ClearCube and Belkin. ClientCube consolidates multiple networks into one device at the desktop, while maintaining physical network separation to centralize computing resources in the data center. VMware View and ClearCube Blade Workstations can now be isolated and secured in the datacenter without compromising user experience or network security.
