SysAid Adds WP7 Compatibility to Its IT Helpdesk Mobile App
The customer service application for Windows Phone 7 follows similar rollouts for iPhone, Blackberry, and Android.
SysAid Technologies has introduced its new IT helpdesk mobile application for Windows Phone 7 (WP7).
The customer service support software developer made the announcement this week after rolled out similar applications for iPhone, Blackberry, and Android in weeks prior. According to SysAid, this fourth roll out makes it “the first company to offer mobile IT helpdesk applications on all four leading smartphone platforms.”
The latest application from SysAid Technologies will enable users to manage IT helpdesks while on the go.
“Mobile access is becoming an increasingly important component of IT departments around the world,” says SysAid CEO Israel Lifshitz. “The ability to instantly access required information without booting up a laptop, and the ability to quickly update a ticket or asset, results in higher efficiency without compromising on service.”
The SysAid IT mobile helpdesk and asset management application enables administrators to:
- View service requests anywhere.
- Filter, update, and set priority and status of helpdesk and asset lists.
- Create new service requests.
- Update asset names, locations, owners, and other fields.
The SysAid WP7 mobile application is free of charge and compatible with all releases of SysAid IT. SysAid IT’s suite of modules includes Helpdesk, Asset Management, Monitoring, Reports & Analysis, and a package built on ITIL best practices.
Scalable editions of the software are available as on-premise or SaaS (Software as a Service) for businesses of any size, while a free version is offered to SMBs with fewer than 100 users.
