Tech Data, an IT distributor, has launched its accessTD mobile application for the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The mobile application includes much of the same functionality of techdata.com, including product searches, pricing and availability information, order tracking, and quoting and ordering.
Tech Data resellers can sign into accessTD with their techdata.com login and password. Using the mobile application, resellers can add items to a quote and email it to their customers with their own markup and logos. The application’s simple checkout process allows resellers to fill orders with a single touch.
Available in the U.S. via free download from the Apple App store, accessTD is expected to be available in Canada next month.
