Corsair Offers USB 3.0 Versions of Flash Lines

Corsair’s Flash Voyager GT, Flash Voyager, and Flash Survivor product lines will be available in USB 3.0 versions.

Corsair, a PC gaming components designer, is offering USB 3.0 versions of their Flash Voyager GT, Flash Voyager, and Flash Survivor product lines.

The Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 provides data transfer rates of up to four times the speed of USB 2.0 drives, and two times the speed of standard USB 3.0 flash drives. The 64GB model has a maximum read speed of 135 MB/sec and a maximum write speed of 3 MB/sec. The Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 comes with tough all-rubber water-resistant housing, and is fully backward compatible with USB 2.0. The Flash Voyager USB 3.0 offers a redesigned smaller body style.

The Flash Survivor USB 3.0 offers an anodized aircraft-grade aluminum housing, which is waterproof to 200 meters. It is also shock and vibration-resistant, to ensure the safety of data. All three new families are compatible with USB 2.0 and work with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

The new models are available through Corsair retailers and etailers worldwide.
