SOASTA, a cloud and mobile testing provider, has launched CloudTest Mobile. CloudTest Mobile is a testing platform that delivers performance and functional test automation of mobile apps across distributed mobile devices. According to the company, CloudTest Mobile is the first automated testing solution to support iOS 6.
The CloudTest Mobile platform tests all continuous touch gestures, including pan, pinch, zoom, and scroll on iPhones, iPads, and iPods. †SOASTA is also offering support for Appcelerator Titanium 2.0, which gives Appcelerator’s mobile developers access to CloudTest Moibile’s test automation capabilities.
For resellers developing their own apps to market their businesses, this is a way to test any iOS 6 gesture or UI element. CloudTest mobile tests at the object level from inside the app, using oconditionals, repeats, and nested clips.
