CloudJumper Appoints MSP Veteran Frank Pulliam as Company Expands North American Channel Presence

Pulliam Brings Managed Services Expertise to CloudJumper in Support of Mid-Market Demand for Azure-Based Cloud Workspaces

CloudJumper, a leading provider of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Workspace as a Service (WaaS) and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions, announced the appointment of Frank Pulliam as channel sales manager for North America. Pulliam will report to Max Pruger, chief revenue officer for CloudJumper and is tasked with helping current and new channel partners capitalize on the mid-market opportunity for Cloud Workspace for Azure. Frank Pulliam’s appointment follows a successful 15-year history in managed services, most recently as partner and vice president for ComSys, a successful managed technology services provider of managed IT and VoIP services.

With over 20 years of experience in the IT field and 15 of those years spent running his own MSP organization, Frank has delivered and supported CloudJumper’s Cloud Workspace solution suite and understands the benefits available to both partners and customers. As more businesses turn to cloud-based IT solutions for improved business agility and operational efficiencies, Frank’s focus will center on helping MSPs secure the future of their businesses by leveraging CloudJumper’s Cloud Workspace for Azure.

CloudJumper has expanded its partnership with Microsoft by integrating the company’s Cloud Workspace Management Suite platform with Microsoft’s Windows Virtual Desktop. The alignment of these solutions allows for fast, simple, centralized deployment of Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop services with management cost-savings for MSPs and business customers. The CloudJumper powered Microsoft solution delivers all of the elements required to rapidly orchestrate Windows Virtual Desktops on Microsoft Azure for employees to improve the mobility and productivity of business computing environments.

“Having been a managed services provider for more than a decade and delivering services powered by CloudJumper for years, I have a deep understanding of the opportunities available to partners,” noted Pulliam. “CloudJumper has made great strides in the channel and I look forward to helping the company further support partners, especially in the mid-market, where a large portion of my time has been centered.”

At ComSys, Pulliam managed IT operations and VoIP managed services for the company, leading several teams and providing sales and account management oversight of new and existing clients. A key area of focus was leading projects to replace traditional on-premise systems with various cloud and hosted solutions, including Cloud Workspace services powered by CloudJumper. Prior to ComSys, Pulliam was the owner and engineer of Florida-based MSP Vantage Networks for nearly 10 years. Before Vantage Networks, he was a level 2 systems analyst for Shands Healthcare where he worked with a team of engineers to manage the company’s server infrastructure in support of more than 10,000 end users.

“The overall market [for cloud-based solutions] will double in size in under four years,” Synergy chief analyst John Disdale predicted in a research note. “Vendor and cloud service operator revenues, measured across seven principal cloud services and infrastructure segments, surpassed U.S. $250 billion in 2018, growing 32 percent year on year,” Synergy found.

“Frank’s appointment is well-timed as spending on business-class cloud services is one of the highest in the industry and is expected to remain so through 2026,” said Max Pruger, chief revenue officer, CloudJumper. “With his extensive background as an MSP, he will bring a wealth of experience to our partners as interest in Cloud Workspaces continues to skyrocket.”
