West Coast partners of the electronics distributor Avnet will have the opportunity April 9 to dig into the world of digital signage. The distributor invites channel partners to help celebrate the launch of its new digital signage video tour with an open house event inside the company’s Integration Center in Chandler, Ariz.
The open house is available to all Avnet partners and suppliers. At the company’s Global Solutions Center, visitors will enjoy a showcase of 15 different digital signage solutions, including a 16-foot video wall, touch screens, interactive white boards, glass-free 3D displays, and digital table tops.
†”Digital signage is a booming market for the technology industry, and Avnet is at the heart of it with its technology integration services,” states a channel invitation shared with Channel Pro-SMB. “Intel estimates that by 2015, approximately 22 million digital signs will be powered by 10 million media players globally.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held in the afternoon of April 9, with Avnet CEO Rick Hamada performing the honors.
