Laplink Software Provides Ongoing Support for PCmover Enterprise

Company will continue support for its enterprise migration solution for Windows XP users until the end of 2016.

Laplink Software is continuing support for its enterprise migration solution, PCmover Enterprise, for Windows XP users until the end of 2016.

“Although Microsoft’s official date for end-of-life of Windows XP was April 8, many organizations continue to rely on it,” says Laplink’s CEO, Thomas Koll. “But the risks of using Windows XP increase every week. We strongly recommend moving off of Windows XP.”

PCmover Enterprise is a comprehensive, fully automated migration solution that transfers installed applications, settings, data, and user accounts. It features a versatile interface that allows IT personnel to manage migrations, even for unmanaged PCs. PCmover Enterprise requires no scripting, development, or extensive testing before performing a migration.

Free evaluations for PCmover Enterprise are available on Laplink’s website. Laplink offers special pricing for multiple license purchases, as well as volume license agreements. Consumer versions of PCmover can be purchased at www.laplink.com or from major software retailers and PC manufacturers in North America, Europe, and Japan.
