DataNumen NTFS Undelete v2.0 Enables Users to Locate, Identify, and Recover Deleted Files

The free application runs on all modern versions of Windows and supports all NTFS drives.

DataNumen Inc., a provider of data recovery solutions, has released DataNumen NTFS Undelete version 2, a free Windows application that helps users recover deleted files and folders on NTFS drives. New features in version 2 include support for the latest versions of NTFS files. Version 2 also locates, identifies, and recovers more than 70 popular types of files on an NTFS disk that has been accidentally or deliberately reformatted, and can undelete files after the user has emptied the Recycle Bin.

DataNumen NTFS Undelete recovers deleted files, streams associated with the deleted files, and entire folders. The software recovers the folders recursively and, when necessary, renames files and folders automatically when there are duplicate names.

A reformatted hard drive could have tens of thousands of files on it, and the file names may not be intuitive. DataNumen NTFS Undelete features built-in information about the structure and characteristics of the most popular file types, allowing the software to locate and recover these files.

In addition to being a tool that data managers, network administrators, and computer consultants can use to ensure file safety, the software can also be used as a forensic tool that lets law enforcement officials and corporate auditors ensure data integrity.

DataNumen NTFS Undelete version 2 is available for free from http://www.datanumen.com/ntfs-undelete/. It runs on all modern versions of Windows and supports all NTFS drives.
