ZyXEL’s Latest Access Points Aim to Push the Boundaries of 11AC

The WAC6103D-I 11ac Dual Band and NWA5123-AC Unified Access Points enable users to take advantage of 802.11AC performance and increase device association capacity in any given coverage area.

ZyXEL, a manufacturer of networking devices, has introduced the WAC6103D-I 11AC Dual Band Access Point (AP) and the NWA5123-AC Unified Access Point, the company’s latest additions to its 11AC series of products.

The enterprise class WAC6103D-I boasts a slim form factor and is optimized for mounting on ceilings and walls without compromising wireless performance. Equipped with a dual-optimized antenna, the access point qualifies as a 3-stream 802.11AC Wi-Fi AP and can achieve a combined data rate of up to 1.75 Gbps. Other features include:

  • APFlex and ZyXEL One Network utilities designed to help simplify configuration, management, and troubleshooting
  • Dynamic Channel Selection, Load Balancing, and Smart Client Steering, offering a consistent uninterrupted wireless experience
  • PoE enabled
  • WPA2 Enterprise protection

The WAC6103D-I 11AC Dual Band Access Point (AP) is priced at $375.00.

The NWA5123-AC is an enterprise class 2×2 Dual Radio 802.11AC AP that supports combined data rates up to 1200 Mbps. Additional features of the 2-in-1 standalone/managed AP include:

  • Ceiling and wall mountable design
  • CAPWAP management support
  • APFlex and ZyXEL One Network utilities for fast deployment
  • PoE enabled
  • WPA2 Enterprise protection
