EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Moovila Offers Solution for MSP Project Management Woes

Moovila applies the power of AI to tackle one of the toughest challenges for services providers: managing the uncertainties inherent in project delivery.

Mike Psenka knows that managing projects is a major pain point for IT services providers since “contaminated” project data leads to inaccurate forecasts, poor resource optimization, and damaged customer relationships when projects fall behind.

Enter Moovila, an emerging player aiming to solve these problems with its Autonomous Project Management and Monitoring (APMM) platform.

“It’s like RMM for projects,” explained Moovila CEO Psenka. “Just like RMM helps MSPs remotely monitor and manage endpoints, Moovila uses AI and automation to monitor projects, flag issues early, and guide remediation.”

Moovila’s platform is designed to offer advanced notice of potential issues, allowing organizations to proactively address problems and communicate effectively with customers. The company’s solution is applicable to a wide range of organizations, from small shops to large enterprises managing complex projects, including those outside of the MSP space.

However, Moovila’s autonomous approach delivers major benefits for resource-strapped IT services providers. In fact, some of its customers have gone from managing 20-25 projects to 50-60 projects simultaneously, Psenka shared. “The automation gives them 2-2.5x the project volume and control.”

Moovila offers an end-to-end work management platform powered by autonomous technology. This enables overburdened MSP teams to manage much larger project portfolios efficiently. The platform elevates the capabilities and competence of the engineers and people managing the project, Psenka said. “You don’t have to be a project management professional to operate like one because the technology, the AI guides them for remediation and monitoring.”

efficiency as the volume and complexity of IT infrastructure grows exponentially. Moovila applies the power of AI to tackle one of the toughest automation challenges: managing myriad uncertainties inherent in project delivery. Efficiency gains range from 40-60%, while customer satisfaction scores jump from the 60s to 90s, Psenka said.

Psenka also addressed the difficulty of conveying unexpected project delays to customers, and the significance of managing relationships and avoiding disruptions for businesses. By automating communication and processes, MSPs can build customer confidence.

While project management platforms abound, Psenka contends Moovila’s APMM approach is unique. The startup recently won SIIA CODiE Awards’ Best Work Management Solution. Additionally, Moovila’s platform links to various tools, including ConnectWise, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce, via Moovila’s custom, purpose-built integrations.

“In the MSP space, there’s so much pain because their project management is pretty poor and manual,” said Psenka. “It leads to bad data that pollutes their business intelligence. Moovila fixes that.”

With strong product-market fit, Moovila appears poised to make a real impact for MSPs.
