Greenville, S.C. – September 2, 2020 – SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading business process services company, today announced the addition of Palo Alto Networks to its GSA and NASPO contracts, giving partners the ability to sell Palo Alto Networks’ innovative cybersecurity technologies in the state, local and education (SLED) market. This adds to SYNNEX’ current relationship with Palo Alto Networks, which offers end-to-end cybersecurity and cloud services for Palo Alto Networks partners.

Resellers that use the SYNNEX General Services Administration (GSA) contract to help with government contracting and new business opportunities can now sell Palo Alto Networks products to SLED institutions. NASPO or National Association of State Procurement Officials, is a leading national government purchasing cooperative and can be used by thousands of agencies nationwide from both the public and non-profit sectors.

“The addition of Palo Alto Networks to our GSA and NASPO contracts is another example of how SYNNEX is committed to giving our reseller partners access to the broadest array of innovative products and advanced solutions for the public sector,” said Ed Somers, vice president, Public Sector and Vertical Markets, SYNNEX. “We want to provide technology that will provide original equipment manufacturers a streamlined route to public sector markets, and SYNNEX is committed to supporting Palo Alto Networks’ SLED business within the channel partner community.”

“SYNNEX is dedicated to Palo Alto Networks’ success in the IT Channel and was recently recognized with  an award from Palo Alto Networks for Top Learner Growth in the Americas for its Authorized Training Partner (ATP) program,” said Reyna Thompson, senior vice president, Product Management, North America, SYNNEX Corporation. “Adding Palo Alto Networks to our GSA and NASPO contracts is an important step forward and will benefit a range of customers buying through SYNNEX.”

Through the U.S. GSA contract coupled with SYNNEX’ participation in GSA’s Cooperative Purchasing Program, SYNNEX resellers can provide their customers with products from more than 230 technology original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to the public sector.

“Supporting our partners, providing value, and helping joint customers remain secure with our leading cybersecurity technology has always been our focus,” said Karl Soderland, senior vice president of Worldwide Channels at Palo Alto Networks. “Expanding on our relationship with SYNNEX will help us further the successes we’ve had with our NextWave Partners in the SLED market.”
