Nutanix and Intel Partner to Enable Systems Integrators and Value-Added Resellers to Deliver Branded Hyperconverged Infrastructure Solutions

Partnership Provides Enterprise Customers with More Options to Modernize IT Infrastructure with Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OS Software

Nutanix, Inc.†(NASDAQ: NTNX), a leader in enterprise cloud computing, announced that it is partnering with Intel Corporation to enable systems integrators (SIs) and value-added resellers (VARs) to deliver Nutanix-qualified Intel Data Center Block hardware platforms under the Nutanix Elevate Technology Alliance Partner Program. With this new solution, available today, IT leaders can deploy and operate Nutanix’s leading enterprise cloud OS software running on Intel Data Center Block configure-to-order servers.

As part of this technology partnership, VARs and SIs who are Authorized Nutanix Channel Partners, will now be able to brand and personalize Intel Data Center Blocks, packaging them with Nutanix software for individual customer deployments. In addition to providing a faster time to market for emerging Intel-based technologies, VARs and SIs can incorporate specific services to increase their value-add, and support their customers throughout the entire project lifecycle: design, implementation, scaling and support. This gives VARs and SIs new opportunities to grow their businesses with a Nutanix and Intel solution, providing them with increased autonomy to meet an expanding set of customer requirements.

Beyond opportunities for VARs and SIs, customers can now gain multiple benefits using Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OS software with Intel Server Products, including:

  • Another option to consume Nutanix Enterprise Cloud OS software
  • More choice of Intel technology to support an expanding set of workloads
  • High performance and availability when running mission-critical applications with Nutanix
  • Storage-dense appliance requirements to reduce customer infrastructure footprint
  • Access to Nutanix’s†awarding-winning technical support

“The Nutanix and Intel partnership meets a distinct market need,” said Howard Goldberg, Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Business Development, Arrow Electronics’ Enterprise Computing Solutions Business. “This offering allows our solution providers to more efficiently and seamlessly customize an offering that is specific and unique to their end customers’ desired business outcomes and needs.”

“Nutanix has continued to impress us with its industry-leading enterprise cloud OS software, and we’re thrilled that our customers will now have access to its technology,” said Phil Harris, VP, GM, Intel Data Center Solutions Group. “As customers embrace digital transformation, it is paramount that vendors can provide them with new offerings as quickly as possible. By working closely with Nutanix to roll out this HCI solution that is verified by Intel and certified by Nutanix, we help customers accelerate the path to market, build new revenue streams, deliver peace of mind with innovative technology and support from industry leaders.”

“It is critical to us that customers have a frictionless path to deploy the ideal solution for their datacenter needs,” said Raja Mukhopadhyay, VP, Product Management, Nutanix. “Our new meet-in-the-channel offering with Intel leverages the expertise of the teams who are closest to our customers: our SIs and VARs. In the long term, SIs and VARs can help customers take advantage of the solution’s ease-of-use and scalability, which optimizes their applications’ performance so they can elevate their IT operations to be more strategic.”

This joint solution is available immediately in the Americas. A worldwide launch will follow. The partnership is initially being supported by two key Nutanix VARs: Arrow and Tech Data.
