Tenable Announces Integration with Amazon Web Services Security Hub

Tenable, Inc., the Cyber Exposure company, today announced that it has integrated with AWS Security Hub, a new offering from Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS).† Today’s news follows the†earlier announcement†that Tenable.io is also available for purchase on AWS Marketplace, allowing customers to seamlessly discover and assess cloud infrastructure assets for vulnerabilities to more effectively manage and reduce cyber risk across public cloud environments.

AWS Security Hub is designed to provide users with a comprehensive view of their high-priority security alerts and compliance status by aggregating, organizing, and prioritizing alerts, or findings, from multiple AWS services, such as Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Inspector, and Amazon Macie as well as security solutions from other AWS Partner Network (APN) members. The findings are then visually summarized on integrated dashboards with actionable graphs and tables.

The announcement builds on Tenable’s existing integrations with AWS. The AWS Connector for Tenable.io is designed to automatically and continuously discover and track asset changes in AWS cloud environments to ensure all instances are known and assessed for exposure with every change. With the life of cloud workloads commonly measured in hours, the AWS Connector solves a key challenge of achieving accurate visibility into cyber risk by creating a consolidated view of all cloud-based assets within Tenable.io. This empowers security teams to manage Cyber Exposure across the entire modern attack surface with a complete picture.

“As a cloud-first company, we’re taking a 360-degree approach to cloud environments. We secure cloud infrastructure, we built Tenable.io on the cloud, for the cloud, and we are committed to helping our customers easily purchase and deploy Tenable.io to discover and assess their cloud environments,” said Ray Komar, vice president of Technical Alliances, Tenable. “In today’s digital economy, critical workloads are moving to the cloud at a record pace, and our customers demand holistic visibility into their cyber risk. We’re committed to helping our customers move to and adopt the cloud with ease.”

Tenable.io is a core component of the Tenable Cyber Exposure platform, which uniquely provides the breadth of visibility into cyber risk across IT, cloud, IoT and OT environments and the depth of analytics to measure and communicate cyber risk in business terms to make better strategic decisions. Tenable.io has won a number of industry awards in 2018, including Best Vulnerability Management Solution at the 2018 SC Awards Europe, Best Security Software and Most Innovative Security Product from the Info Security Product Guide’s 2018 Global Excellence Awards.

Tenable.io’s availability on AWS Marketplace†helps customers quickly adopt Tenable.io through a consolidated purchasing platform and integration with their existing AWS accounts and contracts. Customers can simply pre-pay for Tenable.io based on expected usage and with flexible 12-, 24- or 36-month contracts.† These purchases then appear on their regular AWS bill as part of their normal billing cycle.
