Cylanc Inc., the company that revolutionized the antivirus and endpoint protection industry with true AI-powered†prevention†that blocks malware, fileless attacks, and today’s most advanced cyberthreats, announced the promotion of Rahul Kashyap to Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
A cybersecurity veteran, Rahul brings a depth of knowledge around business growth and strategy to enable Cylance’s rapidly expanding operations throughout the world. In this expanded role, Rahul will be driving true innovation powered by artificial intelligence, as well as managing the overall business and technical strategy of the company. In addition, Rahul will be developing analyst relationships and industry partnerships. As Global CTO, Rahul will lead the strategic vision of Cylance’s industry leading AI-based technology, while expanding the Office of the CTO (OCTO) for the company. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Stuart McClure.

Prior to joining Cylance, Rahul was executive vice president of products at Bromium and led worldwide threat research at McAfee Labs. Rahul has a deep understanding of security and has been instrumental in building several key security technologies, including network intrusion prevention systems (NIPS), host intrusion prevention systems (HIPS), web application firewalls (WAF), whitelisting, endpoint/server host monitoring (EDR) and micro-virtualization.
