NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Datadog, the essential monitoring service for modern cloud environments, today announced that John Gray will be joining the leadership team as SVP of Alliances. Gray comes to Datadog with decades of experience in sales, marketing, and partnerships for enterprise software companies. Most recently at New Relic, Gray’s past roles include executive roles at LivePerson, Oracle, BEA Systems, and Lotus Development. At Datadog, John will lead the Channel Partnerships business and contribute to a growing team of senior leaders across disciplines.

The cloud-monitoring service is also unveiling updates tailored to Managed Services Providers (MSPs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs). Federated Accounts will empower MSPs to seamlessly manage multiple accounts from a single login. New functionality also allows administrators to designate “read-only” access for certain users, enabling more of the team to take advantage of valuable data without risk to mission-critical graphs and monitors.
