Computer hardware manufacturer EVGA has released the EVGA SC17, a high-end gaming laptop designed completely in house by the company for the hardcore gamer.
First unveiled at CES earlier this year, the EVGA SC17 comes equipped with an Intel Core i7 6820HK CPU that is unlocked and capable of being overclocked to 3800MHz as well as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics and 8GB of GDDR5 memory. It features a full GUI BIOS with control over CPU multipliers, voltage, memory timings, frequency, and GPU overclocking right inside the BIOS. Additionally, a Clear CMOS button is included directly on the chassis.
The EVGA SC17 sports a 17.3-inch 4K UHD display (3840×2160/60Hz) and a slim design that is under 1.05-inches at its thickest point. The laptop also includes 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Realtek ALC 255 audio, 1080p webcam, HDMI and mini DisplayPort (x2) outputs, two USB 3.0 Type A ports, a single USB 3.1 Type-C port, and a full-size white backlit keyboard.
Priced at $2699.99, the EVGA SC17 is now available for preorder.
