@Xi Computer Corporation, a manufacturer of custom CAD workstations and notebooks, high-end servers, and HPC clusters, has introduced the MTower CX, a new line of Intel XEON workstations designed to provide a high-performance graphics desktop experience for designers and engineers working with modeling as well as real-time simulations and rendering.
The Xi MTower CX workstations, based on the latest v3 edition Intel XEON 1650 and 1660 processors, are configurable with the latest generation of NVIDIA Quadro Maxwell video cards. Packaged in a compact, cube design, the new workstation line offers ultra-quiet liquid cooling and clock speeds in excess of 4GHz. Other features include:
- M.2 PCIe SSD and 2166MHz DDR4 scalable up to 64GB
- NVIDIA Quadro and GeForce graphics cards
- Micro-ATX chassis and motherboard, UEFI BIOS
- Gigabit Ethernet, Wireless AC, BT 4.0, and Hi-Definition sound options
- Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 and Linux OS
“The exclusive combination of six or eight XEON cores at the extremely high clock rates of up to 4.2GHz is priced still hundreds of dollars against the slower E5-1680. Using the latest in cooling and sound proofing technology, this is the ideal solution for professionals demanding, at the same time, fast single core interactive response and strong simulation and rendering multi threads capabilities.” says Robert Bragaglia, marketing director at Xi Computer.
Starting at a base price of $1199, The MTower CX line of workstations can be custom configured and ordered directly from the company website. For more information, visit www.xicomputer.com/products/mtowercx.asp.
