Velocity Micro, a builder of enthusiast desktops, gaming PCs, laptops, and peripherals, has released the NX chassis, a compact, small form factor style case that supports full sized graphics and ATX power supplies.
“With every new chassis that we develop, we build on what we’ve learned. Our goal with the NX case was extreme power capacity in a minimal footprint,” says Randy Copeland, president and CEO of Velocity Micro. “The NX accomplishes exactly that. It’s compact without sacrificing a single thing. I’d put a system built in our NX chassis up against one built in any full sized ATX case without hesitation.”
The NX chassis was custom built by Velocity Micro’s team of Virginia-based engineers, taking the SFF SmallBlock chassis design and adding extended depth and additional case fans. At 12.75 x 8 x 12.5-inches, the NX is the most compact, full capacity case in the company’s line. Key features of the NX include:
- Satin black aluminum construction
- Accommodates full-sized double width graphics card options including GTX 980 or GTX TITAN X †
- Full-sized internal ATX 80Plus power supplies – no power brick
- Up to four total hard drives
- Side and top case fans for better cooling and longevity
- Fully customizable models designed for home office, professional workstation, or gaming
The NX SFF Chassis is now available with fully customizable configurations starting at $879. To learn more, visit http://www.velocitymicro.com/nx-desktop-pc-chassis.php.
