Catering to both the enterprise and consumer markets, OCZ’s recently unveiled JetExpress SSD controller technology was on display. JetExpress is a native SATA and PCIe/NVMe and supports multiple form factors including M.2, 2.5-inch SATA, and SFF-8639, which enables PCI Express speeds in a compact 2.5-inch form factor. OCZ also displayed its flash solutions for enterprise applications, including the upcoming Z-Drive 6000, a native PCIe 3.0 NVMe 1.1 solution in an easy-to-deploy 2.5-inch form factor that features a hot pluggable SFF-8639 connector.
Additionally, the company provided an advance look at the upcoming Vector 180 SATA series. This new enthusiast-grade SSD offers to take reliability to the next level with its onboard Power Failure Management Plus (PFM+) feature. The Vector 180 line will be offered in 120GB, 240GB, 480GB, and 960GB models.
