Plustek Technology Inc.’s PlustekSecurity, a manufacturer of security surveillance video recorders, has released a new network video recorder (NVR), the Slim380Pro, designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance with limited enclosure space or for in-vehicle surveillance when the SSD is installed.
This Slim380Pro is equipped with 180Mbps network throughputs, which gives it the ability to connect with multiple high megapixel cameras.†The recorder includes a 2.5-inch SATA hard disc bay for uninterrupted audio and video recording in high-definition H.264 footage.†The built-in web-based interface boasts easy setup, configuration, and is designed to access directly with the device through a browser.
Featuring Plustek’s EasyLink, users have the ability to directly connect with the NVR in order to see what is happening on a job site in real time.†Additionally, Plustek’s P2P application identifies the NVR and creates a connection tunnel—without DDNS setup or configuring.
“With our Easy Link you get hassle-free, remote access, instantaneously,” says Karen Ku Plustek’s president.† “All of our Slim series recorders can survive in harsh environments and are designed to be concealed almost anywhere.”
The Plustek NVR Slim380Pro is available now at a suggested retail price of $439. All PlustekSecurity products can be purchased from authorized resellers including CDW, DMRs, VARs, and Ingram Micro. For more information, visit http://plusteksecurity.com/products/nvr/nvr-slim380pro/introduction.html.
