Laplink Software has released a solution to reduce the time it takes to completely migrate user profiles, data files, applications, settings, and more from an old PC to a new PC. By pairing PCmover Image & Drive Assistant with a SATA or IDE to USB 3.0 Transfer Cable, Laplink is able to leverage its PC migration kit to offer the fastest possible transfer.

After a few selections to accept defaults or to customize the migration, reducing the time it takes customers to migrate their PC from hours to minutes, states Laplink.
With PCmover, the old hard drive is left untouched, and nothing is overwritten on the new PC. Applications are installed ready-to-use on the new PC, eliminating the need to find old CDs, downloads, serial numbers, and keys.
