The Skinny: Teaming with Griffin Technology, the N.Y.-based manufacturer’s new ShopKeep Mobile provides retailers with a handheld POS solution.
The Specs: The ShopKeep Mobile product utilizes Griffin’s Olli hardware with the ShopKeep app to offer business owners everything they need to maintain a retail establishment. ShopKeep founder Jason Richelson explains the solution removes some of the worst aspects of the retail experience for consumers while creating increased customer interaction.
Designed for use with the iPod Touch, ShopKeep Mobile incorporates an encrypted credit card swiper and high-speed barcode scanner that facilitates showroom sales. ShopKeep Mobile also includes inventory management, QuickBooks integration capabilities, customer databases, tax on or off, printer support and emailed receipts.
