Tripp Lite, a manufacturer of power protection and connectivity solutions, has introduced the SRCOOLNET remote management accessory. SRCOOLNET upgraded the shipping versions of the SRCOOL12K and SRXCOOL12K Portable Air Conditioning Units, allowing IT managers to monitor temperature and humidity, receive alerts, access logs, change settings, and automate operation over the network.

- Lite’s free PowerAlert NMS software or a third-party network management system
- Allows IT managers to monitor temperatures, receive alerts, access logs, and control settings over the network from any location
- Includes an environmental sensor that can monitor temperature and humidity in locations up to 12 feet away from the portable air conditioning unit, allowing its operation to be tied to the conditions of a device or rack enclosure in another part of the room
- Includes a dry-contact interface to monitor and control compatible alarm, security and telecom devices
