Campbell, Calif.-based Barracuda Networks Inc., a provider of cloud-connected security and storage solutions, has begun a relationship with Kroll Ontrack to provide granular recovery for protecting Microsoft SharePoint with Ontrack PowerControls. This technology expands the SharePoint recovery options available to Barracuda Backup customers.
With Ontrack PowerControls and Barracuda, customers can recover individual data sets from SQL Server backups with just a few clicks. Customers can also view revisions and search for files.
Ontrack PowerControls gives Barracuda Backup customers the ability to:
- Search using specific criteria across multiple data sources
- Recover individual items from existing SharePoint backups
- Restore individual items, lists, libraries and folders
- Conduct eDiscovery searches and collections from backups
